Cast and Voice Actors
Who Plays Who
The credited voice and motion capture cast, from Sophia and Leni to the Minoan roles, with a note on how reliable the list is.

Short answer: Anna Demetriou plays Sophia in Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, providing both her voice and her motion capture, having previously voiced the character in A Plague Tale: Requiem. The credited cast around her includes Lisa Delamar as Leni, Ben Homewood as Faro, Andrew Spooner as Ezra, Charlotte McBurney as Amicia and Chipo Chung as Irene. The full list below comes from IMDb's credits page rather than from an official credits document.
Main cast
| Role | Performer | Credit type |
|---|---|---|
| Sophia | Anna Demetriou | Voice and motion capture |
| Leni | Lisa Delamar | Voice and motion capture |
| Faro | Ben Homewood | Voice and motion capture |
| Ezra | Andrew Spooner | Voice |
| Amicia | Charlotte McBurney | Voice |
| Irene | Chipo Chung | Voice |
| Sophia (child) | Fabiola Zannini | Voice |
| Minos | John Hopkins | Voice |
| Alec | Joseph Capp | Voice |
| Daedalus | Richard Pepple | Voice |
| Asterion | Seamus Cannon-Law | Voice |
| Cercyon | Richard Booth | Voice |
That is the set of distinctly named roles in the credited order. Everything below it is either a performer covering several named parts or ensemble work.
Performers covering multiple named roles
| Performer | Credited as |
|---|---|
| Ben Cura | Valeria, plus various people and plunderers |
| Claire Morgan | Isabel, Sister Lisa, Sister Chiara, Sister Maria, various children |
| Katherine Kingsley | Sister Jane, Sister Anna, Sister Sole, various people |
| Kimberly Blake | Sister Astrid, plus various people and plunderers |
| Jonno Davies | Herald, Carmine, various people |
| Silas Carson | Olivio, plus various soldiers and Minoans |
| Emma Stannard | Sister Karine |
The recurring Sister roles are worth noticing. Sophia's background includes a period in a convent, so a cluster of credited nuns suggests that part of her history is dramatised rather than only referenced — although the wiki bio, not the credits, is our source for the convent itself.
Ensemble cast
A large group is credited for unnamed soldiers, Minoans, plunderers and townspeople: Ewan Bailey, Faith Alabi, George Georgiou, Gregg Lowe, Hiba Elchikhe, James Alexander, Jaouhar Ben Ayed, Jay Saighal, Jeremy Ang Jones, Joe Pitts, Joseph Millson, Julianna Kurokawa, Michael Amariah, Michael Geary, Peter Bramhill, Toby Williams, Tom Alexander, Will Tudor, Youssef Kerkour and Zora Bishop.
The split between soldiers and Minoans across those credits is itself a small piece of evidence for the dual-timeline structure: two eras need two crowds.
Voice, motion capture, or both
The credits distinguish between performance types, which is useful if you care about who is actually on screen. Anna Demetriou, Lisa Delamar and Ben Homewood are credited for both voice and motion capture, so Sophia, Leni and Faro are performed rather than only voiced.
Alex Martin is listed as motion capture for Irene, Daedalus, Ezra, Minos and Alec, and is marked uncredited on IMDb. In other words, several characters are voiced by one performer and physically performed by another — standard practice, but it means the name you hear is not always the body you see.
For Sophia specifically, the series wiki adds that Demetriou voiced her in Requiem while Giorgia Sinicorni handled that game's motion capture, so Resonance is the first time one performer does both.
Names carried over from the series
Two credits connect this game directly to the earlier ones. Charlotte McBurney is credited as Amicia, the protagonist of Innocence and Requiem, and Anna Demetriou returns to Sophia. How large Amicia's part is, and whether it sits in the present-day timeline or in a framing sequence, is to be confirmed — a credit tells you a character appears, not how much.
Sophia's casting had one explicit rule behind it: the character is intended to be from somewhere along the Mediterranean, only Mediterranean actors were auditioned, and Demetriou is half Greek.
The Greek names on the list
Alongside the 14th-century cast, the credits include Minos, Daedalus, Asterion and Cercyon — all figures from Greek mythology, and all consistent with a story set partly in Minoan times on an island the game associates with the Minotaur and with Theseus.
We are deliberately not explaining who those characters turn out to be in this game. A cast list can tell you which names exist without telling you what they do, and the difference between the two is where spoilers live. Their in-game roles are to be confirmed on this page.
Which languages are actually voiced
Steam's language table lists full voice support for English, French, German and European Spanish, with Latin American Spanish covered by interface and subtitles. That is the practical answer if you are choosing an audio language: four dubbed tracks, and the rest read.
The performers on this page are the English cast. We have no source for the French, German or Spanish voice casts, so those remain to be confirmed rather than guessed at from the localisation credits of earlier games in the series.
Languages the community added
The PC mod scene filled some of the remaining gaps within days of release. Community subtitle and interface translations exist for Indonesian, Greek, Vietnamese, Romanian and Thai, and there is a Cyrillic font patcher that fixes how Russian text renders in the game's Barlow and Cinzel typefaces.
None of these add voice acting — they are text translations, and quality varies by author. They also sit outside anything Asobo or Focus supports. If you want them, our mods page lists what is on Nexus Mods and what the risks are.
How reliable is this list?
IMDb's full credits are contributor-edited. In practice, game credit pages are usually assembled from the shipped credits roll and are largely accurate, but they can carry omissions, misspellings and missing role details — the "as credited" variations on this page (Benjamin Homewood, Andrew James Spooner) are exactly the kind of detail that drifts.
We have not been able to check this against an official credits document, so the whole page is marked Community sourced. If you spot a mismatch against your own end-credits roll, that is better evidence than anything here.
What we could not verify
- The official, developer-published credits list: to be confirmed.
- Character relationships and roles for Leni, Faro, Ezra, Irene and Valeria: to be confirmed — we know they are cast, not who they are.
- Which performances are in-engine motion capture versus cinematic capture: to be confirmed.
- Localised voice casts for French, German and Spanish: to be confirmed. Steam lists full voice support for those languages, but the performers are not in our sources.
For the character you actually play, see who is Sophia.
